What does making the Olympic team mean to you?
Making the Olympic team is the fulfillment of a dream I've had since I was a little kid. As athletes, most our of our time is spent focusing on our short term, progress goals. Realistically, most athletes only have one or two really big goals in their career- and for many of us, competing at the Olympics is one of them. It's not often we get to tick one of those boxes off- so to be able to actually say that I am part of the 2022 Canadian Olympic Team has me feeling incredibly proud and grateful for the journey that brought me here.
