Frozen Thunder 2019 Information

Opening date: October 19, 2019

The Frozen Thunder Track is open to the public after 12pm all days. Please ensure you have purchased your pass through the Canmore Nordic Centre.

 

Frozen Thunder Reserved Track Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday from 07:00 to 12:00 is reserved for high performance athletes.
  • Saturday – Sunday from 07:00 to 12:00 is reserved for Foothills Nordic and Canmore Nordic ski club programming. High performance bib users can use the track at this time, however it is not recommend between 09:00 – 12:00 and intensity sessions are not permitted by non-club members during this time.
  • Cost for “reserved track” times access:

 

  • Bibs and day trail passes can be purchased from the Nordiq Canada office located at the Canmore Nordic Centre (100, 1995 Olympic Way) Monday-Friday between 8:30 – 4:30 PM. Bibs are not available for purchase on the weekend.
  • Everyone using Frozen Thunder during the reserved times MUST wear a bib. Anyone without a bib during reserved schedule times will be asked to leave the track. All will be subject to Canmore Nordic Centre trail user fines.
  • All users of Frozen Thunder require a Canmore Nordic Centre trail pass.
