Canada Winter Games ends with Gold for Team Saskatchewan

The Individual race was the final event for Biathlon at the 2019 Canada Winter Games in Red Deer Alberta and the first medal for Saskatchewan at these games, with a gold medal by Logan Pletz.

Team BC Secures the Gold in the Pursuit

Alberta’s Jenna Sherrington started first, after her Gold medal performance in the sprint. With a rear-site malfunction, Jenna was caught by teammates Pascale Paradis and Naomi Walsch as well as Team BC athlete’s Gillian Gowling and Larissa Black, who were eager to make the podium after narrow misses on Sunday.
